It never snows in Paris!

Our one day in Paris together was cold and snowy.

Our Last Week!

We went to the Picasso Museum.

Saturday night, we went to a holiday party given by Idan's friend from class.

The only english children TV channel we get plays Bugs Bunny all the time. So Sunday, we took him to see Bugs Bunny on Ice. It was all in French, but Idan loved it.

Afterwards, we went to Bercy Village for lunch.

Idan's teacher had a going away party for him in class. She made crepes with sugar and nutella.

Our last walk to school over the bridge. Idan's school, the Lennen Bilingual School is at the American Church of Paris, right next to the Eiffel Tower.

Idan and his English speaking teacher, Barbara, before the holiday show.

Idan and Claire, his french speaking teacher. He loved her.

Ruby, Idan, and Tanisha after the Holiday Show.

For the holiday show, they sang a french song and the wheels on the bus. Santa came after and gave everyone a present.

After school on Wednesday, Idan met his friends Joey and Conn for their last playdate at Ecole Buissonaire, a play gym. Idan was really upset to leave them. Joey is from London and Conn is from Ireland.

2 more weeks

Jamison got tired of running around doing the tourist thing, so we had a quiet weekend. Saturday, we enjoyed the nice weather at Luxembourg Gardens.

Idan on the carousel at Luxembourg Gardens.

Sunday, we spent with our British friends and then went to see the movie, Happy Feet.

3 weeks left!

Place de la Concorde at night.

We visited the Musee de la Orangerie to see the large waterlilies by Monet. The museum was just redone so that you could see them in natural light.

They put up a free ice skating ring at Hotel D'Ville. It is just a five minute walk from our apartment. (You can see Notre Dame in the background of this picture)

Jamison has waited 3 years and 10 months for the chance to teach Idan how to ice skate.

Idan loved sitting on the chair and being pushed around.

But then Jamison showed him how to use it and he skated all over the ice by himself.

After, they had sledding on this ice slide.

We then saw the temporary Disney exhibition at the Grand Palais. It showed Disney's earliest works, drawing and inspirations for all his classic movies.

Disneyland Paris Christmas

We went to Disneyland for the last time. They had lots of things going on for Christmas.

We went to Cafe Mickey at the Disney Village for lunch with all the characters. The restaurant was almost empty, so we had the characters to ourselves!

We rode all of Idan's favorite rides for the last time. Here he is if front of "Its a small world".

Jamison and Idan on Dumbo the flying elephant.

The christmas parade ended with Santa driving a sleigh with real live reindeer.

We saw the Mickey Christmas Show. All the characters skated across the ice on the stage.

There was a ceremony for Tinkerbell to light Sleeping Beauty's castle in sparkly christmas lights.

She also lighted up Main Street.

We saw the Disney Fantilusion Parade.
